Time to change

So, even though I just got this blog all updated and stuff, I think I've decided to switch... I made one for Jack & I together, and then forgot the name of it, so I've never done anything with it. It came to me suddenly the other day, so I looked it up and I didn't have any posts on it at all... but now I'm making the switch... so check us out at luckyshirts.blogspot.com

A new look

So, after my frustration of not being able to figure out how to add links and all these other cool things that everyone has, I realized that I was using an older version of blogger that didn't support all that stuff. That's what I get for being ahead of the blogging fad and starting mine a year ago...ha. I think this is my 18th post in over a year. But don't worry, I'm now updated and new fangled and ready to show the world just how great of a blogger I can be. Well, maybe not. But I'll try. I'm still not sure that I love this background, but it'll do for now. I should probably go figure out dinner, though I'm not hungry. That Boy probably is.
Wow, this even fixed my pictures-won't-post-where-I-want-them-to issue! Now I'll have to go back and fix the others...later.

Snowflakes

December 1st, right on queue, we woke up to a world covered in a blanket of snow. Actually I'd been up and awake for quite a while but hadn't looked outside yet...I was reading an email from Suzanna and she said it snowed overnight...so I peeked outside through the blinds and she was right! It snowed! It continued to snow thoughout the entire day, and we probably had 3-4 inches by the time the day was over. As much as this Georgia girl doesn't like walking around in wet, icey slush, it sure was pretty. The snow, a Christmasy brunch at church, and seeing BYU's musical of Little Women made Saturday a very Christmasy day. We put up our tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving, but I may as well throw in a picture of it here too..

Why can't I ever get the pictures to go where I want them to??? When I add a new picture it goes to the top instead of to the bottom, or better yet, where the cursor is. Why? Does anyone out there in blogland know how to fix this or what I'm talking about? And while I'm at it, how do you get the list of links to other people's blogs? ...this has turned from a cheerful Christmas post to a Grinchy how-do-I-post post...

So I'll stop.

A new resolve

I've totally been addicted to reading other people's blogs...both people I know in real life, and those that I've become best friends with through the blog world and they don't even know it (wilkinsonquints.blogspot.com). But then I realized I haven't really been to faithful at posting on my own blog. I put pictures on picasa all the time, and really all that is on my blog from the past is pictures...but now, I will make an attempt to keep up my own blog. I've really started slacking on writing in my journal, so why not have an online journal that the whole world can read. So here I go...
